The hawks are back and residing deep in the woods. As of today no more visual sight of the nest with all the new buds. But I can confirm that eyas were born last week. Male and female carefully watching the nest.

Red-tailed hawks on Nest for 7th year 2015
Just to let you know the Red-tialed hawks at the Scarborough Civic Centre are back on nest for the 7th year in a row. At this time the nest can barely be seen but the female was seen on the nest yesterday. She stood up once and moved around then flat down again.
Within a couple of weeks you will not be able to see the nest due to the leaves.

Red tailed hawk yeas have arrived may 6, 2014
Took a few minutes at lunch to check on Red-tailed hawks at work and was thrilled to see male coming in with food and yea s noises being made. Female was on nest to feed young.
So very excited. Not sure how many. Usual 2 or 3 yeas each year.
Both parents very nervous so only stayed a moment.
