
I took a lot of photos today. As I arrived the male arrived - took over the nest and she flew out - circled around me for a good minute (you can tell it is the female by the extra feathers at the talons). At lunch again the male came in to take over the nest, I was able to get a couple of shots in the nest where she was fussing around the branches etc. I will post the shots tomorrow.
On a nice sunny day they were both soaring around. 3 turkey vultures went over the nest today as well. The red tails did not seem concerned.
