Male and Female seen soaring around the area April 15, 2011

Over the week I have seen either the male or female soaring around the Scarborough Civic Centre. The other partner is on the nest which is a red oak tree. In less than a couple weeks you won't be able to see the nest at all. Encased in leaves. I hope to see eyas early May.

Female Red-Tailed hawk April 5 2011

Suzanne and i walked by the nest today. The male was sitting on the nest today as well. No sign of the female. These shots are from the other day.

Gary Diane and I went to look for the red tails. We saw them and they were very busy. The male was on the nest, took off and mated with female and then went right back on the nest. The female was soaring everywhere. Beautiful.

I was surprised to see the red tailed hawk flying towards me with a branch in his mouth. No time for photos.

Saw male hawk today soaring in the sky. Female was very content to sit in tree and watch.
