2013

The Red-tailed Hawk family has succeed in having two eyas. Very hard to see them but I can hear them and see them flapping around high in the nest.

Fledge will happen any day now for at least 2 of the hawks. June 7 2010

At lunch today I went outside. At 12:45 lunch was served on the nest. Female came in with a rat and the screaming started between the older two eyas. After with a burst of energy the one eyas started to bounce from one branch back into the nest and then from the branch to the upper limbs of the tree. I think Colin is correct in assuming the fledge will be around June 9, 2010

Eyas on the nest June 5, 2010

I stopped in on the nest on my way home. The 3 little eyas were busy jumping, flapping and branching. Lots of fun watching them.
Took a few shots today and the one little eyas you can tell just finished supper.

Female Hawk flying Fast June 2, 2010

At lunch time today I was taking a couple of shots when the female red tail went into the woods across the street. It was a really pretty shot but just as I was checking it she came right towards me low and fast. Enjoy
