Red-tailed hawks at the Scarborough Civic Centre 2017

The hawks are back and residing deep in the woods.  As of today no more visual sight of the nest with all the new buds.  But I can confirm that eyas were born last week.  Male and female carefully watching the nest.

Red-tailed hawks on Nest for 7th year 2015

Just to let you know the Red-tialed hawks at the Scarborough Civic Centre are back on nest for the 7th year in a row.  At this time the nest can barely be seen but the female was seen on the nest yesterday.  She stood up once and moved around then flat down again.

Within a couple of weeks you will not be able to see the nest due to the leaves.

I was pleased to see the female Red-tailed hawk sitting beside the nest by work.  She was facing the sun enjoying the warm weather.  Lets hope she lays her eggs soon.
