The Red-tailed Hawk family has succeed in having two eyas. Very hard to see them but I can hear them and see them flapping around high in the nest.

Eyas - Red-Tailed hawk Babies June 16, 2010

I want food now. Love the tongue sticking out.

Thanks to a wonderful co-worker Carol I was able to see all 3 eyas plus female. At this time 2 have fledged and 1 still on nest. This is what was expected as the eyas on the nest is 7 days younger. He should fledge by the weekend.

Also thanks to Attila - he saw the male and female hawk together as well as the babies. We have not seen the male for a while. So all is well.

Hide and seek

eyas in the tree

After the rain - drying out

See the size difference. The largest one is female and smaller one male.

Oldest female and youngest male on the nest - one flew over the other. Cool
