The Red-tailed Hawk family has succeed in having two eyas. Very hard to see them but I can hear them and see them flapping around high in the nest.

Juvenile Red-tailed Hawks soaring around Civic Centre

I was thrilled on my way home from work to see a juvenile red-tailed hawk sitting atop the tree.  He was not very content.  Later I saw him flying over the Scarborough Town Centre.

The adults are seen daily soaring high in the sky above the Town Centre and where I work.

Thrill to see them still in the area.

No photos this year but some really great ones going back to when the nest was outside the window at my office.

Take time and go back to see the thrill of juvenile hawks playing in the trees.

Great pictures of the Red Tailed Hawk at Scarborough Town Centre. I will watch for this bird next time I am over at the mall. I live in North Scarborough, and this past Friday I had a Coopers Hawk land in my backyard, and it made lunch out of one of the unlucky birds at my nijer feeder. If your interested the pics and video are at: http://frametoframe.ca/photo-essay-coopers-hawk-sighting-goldhawk-park-toronto-ontario/

My wife, Jean and I also sighted a Red Tailed Hawk up in Markham at Milne Dam Conservation Park a couple of weeks ago, our pics and video are also at: http://frametoframe.ca/destinations/canada/photo-essay-red-tailed-hawk-sighting-markham-ontario-2/

Hi Bob:
I have seen the red tail at Milne as well. HOpefully a mate will be called in at that location as well.
Always interested in seeing other photos. Looks like we go to many of the same locations.
